Class:  World Wide Soccer

Description:  Start a love for soccer that will last a life time!  World Wide Soccer brings their challenging and fun soccer training program to BFSMS!   Every player will receive a Free jersey and water bottle. Please bring a soccer ball, shin guards, cleats, sunscreen, water and a snack.

Class:  World Wide Soccer

Description:  Players will work through different topics including overloads, defending & attacking as well as ball mastery skills.  All sessions are designed to improve decision making ability and speed of play.  Every player will receive a Free jersey and water bottle.  Please bring a soccer ball, shin guards, cleats, sunscreen, and plenty of water.

Ages:  6-15 yrs.

JUNE 5 – 9

Class:  Sew Fun!

Description:  Students will learn basic sewing techniques by hand and machine; the parts of the sewing machine and learn about choosing fabric, cutting out a project and assembling.  We will make a small change purse by hand, practice patterns on the sewing machine and a drawstring bag (to hold sewing kit).  All materials will be provided.  A beginner sewing kit will be given to each student with all the basic materials to start sewing.  A drink and snack will be provided each day.  Students who wish to bring their own sewing machine may do so.

Ages:  8 (or soon to be) – 12 yrs.

Description:  Tap into your imagination with tens of thousands of LEGO parts!  Build engineer-designed projects such as Boats, Snowmobiles, Catapults, and Merry-Go-Rounds.  Then use special pieces to create your own unique design!  Explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.

Description:  Power on your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts!  Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as Catapults, Pnuematic Cranes, Arch Bridges, and Battletracks!  Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.

Class:  Camp Invention®

Description:  Create your own personal, ultimate Spy Gadget Alarm Box by taking apart and upcycling everyday machines.  Launch water rockets, build Bubble Blasters, and engineer giant castles.  Explore a distant new exoplanet and design inventions to create the next Earth.  Design duct tape products and pitch them to mock investors.  *Extended Camp hours are 7:30 am – 5:30 pm and will cost an additional $80.00.  To sign up, please select Extended Camp option during checkout.

Description:  Guten Tag!  Travel the world with Kelvin and our core of engineers as we explore the continents in just five days.  Drive across the United States, build a boat to sail the Mediterranean, and fly to the Orient in this fun engineering experience.  Join us on an amazing adventure as we engineer planes, cars, boats and rockets to travel the globe, and beyond.

Description:  Pack your bags engineers and get ready for an adventure!  Team up with others for a wild ride across the globe in our Amazing Race.  During this camp, students carefully engineer designs that traverse the most treacherous terrain, brave the stormiest seas, and soar above the clouds.  Can your team make it all the way around the world in just a few days?  Grab your passports and catch a flight straight to Engineering For Kids for a truly unbelievable journey!

Description:  This camp offers a safe, educationally enriching STEM Program experience that is fun and challenging using elements in the areas of simple machines.  Your child will use and develop his critical thinking skills, as he constructs dinosaurs, rockets, castles, airplanes, forts, and cars using over 15 new games, and activities not found in stores!

Class:  Fastforward Kids:  Ultimate Survival!

Description:  Ultimate Survival is a co-ed outdoor adventure camp.  During survival situations, the basic needs become shelter, water, fire, food, navigation and first aid.  Your camper will learn how to purify water, leave no trace camping, signal for help, wilderness navigation, search for edible food, first aid, and set up shelter.

Class:  Fastforward Kids:  Fashion Designer

Description:  Young ladies graduate from playing dress up to creating their own designs!  They’ll express their own fashion sense by following the same design principles used by professionals.  This includes basic sketching techniques, coordinating colors and mixing textures and patterns for perception and scale.  Designs come to life with beautifully patterned fabric, ribbons, sequins, jewels and embellishments.  For your child’s safety, no sewing is practiced in this class.

Description:  Endless tracks and obstacle courses await every Hot Wheels® car lover as they discover the world of physical science.  What goes up, must come down.. or does it?  Momentum, force, and friction are just some of the concepts they will understand as cars acrobatically fly before them.  Measuring length and weight will help in the identification of the fastest, most efficient car on the block.  Hot Wheels® rock!

Description:  This camp is about turning new and imaginative ideas into reality.  Your artist will put together artwork, comic strips, scrapbooks, and even fun fashion creations.  But that’s not all!  Little authors will be in our mist.  Authors will be able to show their unique expressions through their own writing and show case their work at the end of the week!

Description:  A day camp filled with all the things every youth needs and wants to “create” the perfect summer.  Your camper will embark on a day creating projects with LEGO®, the art of survival, theater arts, music, and art projects.  The focus of this creative camp is to express feelings through imaginative, innovative and original arts and skills.
